Just read the article posted. Matt Bracken made a good case 7 years ago for things that we see unfolding right now..flash mobs just looted the fancy areas of downtown Chicago last weekend. If the police stand down, then snipers could well take out flash mobs in order to survive. But do we have to get to that point? No. If we vigorously build our local units of Civilian Defense Force in every county in the USA, then the flash mobs in many areas would realize that the 'soft targets' are gone. More importantly, by engaging the whole community, the overwhelming numbers of people in Civilian Defense Force could stop (or at least minimize) the wanton violence that the leftist mobs dish out. By being an integral part of the community in each county, Civilian Defense Force will not be viewed as a renegade militia, but as a vital part of keeping the community safe.
