The tide is turning.
Some very good news today. Well, not news--speculation, for the most part--but pretty reasonable.
The Democrats' internal polling is TERRIBLE, as we all knew it would be, and now they're running scared. Did you notice that suddenly every Democrat is calling for rioting to end? They're all suddenly denouncing it as bad and non-productive. "Oh, the humanity!" is suddenly their position.
This means three things; one, their polling is absolutely horrible and they're terrified. Two, they're going to lose in November and they're terrified. And three, they're not going to keep pushing this anti-American nonsense because they're terrified.
Yeah, I know that's only one thing expressed three different ways, but the point is the same--the people who have been permitting all of this to happen, who have been enabling the violence and anti-American fervor to build, have seen that America isn't buying into or putting up with it, and they're terrified.
As fast as it started, this shit could end. Why? Because hyper-violent criminal thugs will do hyper-violent criminal things, but most of these nimrods are entitled white kids and would-be anarchists from mommy's basement who haven't faced any real consequences yet. Once the Democrats pull their protections, and arrests actually mean something, this won't be fun anymore. And there's more...
We all (including me) feared that they WANTED a dead body at the hands of a Patriot so they could point to it on CNN and say "SEE! These militia types are HORRIBLE!" We figured that America would buy into it the way we seem to with most of what they feed us.
Well, they got their dead bodies--and America's reaction so far has been GOOD! It's about time!
Not what they were hoping for. Not what they thought they'd get. But there's even more!
Everyone is seeing what they're all about; they act like this stuff is great, but only as long as it ain't happening in THEIR neighborhood. Once Lori Lightfoot feels threatened she's cracking down. Now we knew all about that, but the message is being delivered to their side too. Long and the short of it? They're starting to realized they're tools, and they're being used.
There will still be some violence. There are still going to be troublemakers who try to use this as a springboard to bigger and badder things. But he batteries have been pulled out of the machine, and it's winding down. The people driving the narrative will now change their language; you'll see the Stelters and Lemons of the world start saying "riots" instead of "protests", and "peaceful" won't be used. They'll try to make it a subtle change, but the point is the same--when the language of the propagandists changes, the bulk of the problem will disappear.
My concern is and has always been that the Democrats realize they're in deep trouble, so they'll pull out all the stops. But I think they're having second thoughts. I think they're looking at this and their normalcy bias is disappearing; they're finally understanding that this could be it for them if they keep pushing this lunacy. As it is they're about to be marginalized for at least another term or three. I think they've figured out that if they continue down this path, they'll be marginalized forever. George Soros would urge them to continue, but the bulk of them, realizing the inevitability of their own extinction if they do, will (and are) saying "no way".

i think their "revolution" isnt going as well as they hoped it goes well in democratic cities but cant even take off in purple states like wisconsin, so they will brainwash for 4 more years and try again in the next election year.

Nancy Pelosi has proposed if President Trump wins (looks like he will in a landslide especially due to the communist rioters) that states like California, Oregon, Washington and New York should

Yesterday was a good day for Patriotic Americans not because the Democrats are backing off ..they are not despite window dressing comments. It was a good day because the Kenosha communist riots woke up the reality of resistance via the 17 year old young man who stood up against the communists . ( We may debate his tactics and youthful impulsiveness, but the videos clearly showed him defending himself against armed attackers.)
Due to these events ,there will be a virtual deluge of people online ready to join a civic organization that aggressively defends their neighborhood and that practices military training and tactics.

You are exactly right, and I don't mean to imply that the battle is over. On the contrary, I just posted on our "Brain Trust" forum (which most of you don't see) that this in no way means our job is done or that the danger has passed. The other possibility--and it's even more terrifying than the original premise--is that the Democrats are trying to stop their slide with this new tack, and when the devastation comes in November (as it's going to), they may just say "screw it" and let the whole thing crumble. One way or the other, they're finished for a long time. It's merely a question whether they want to remain relevant enough to perhaps one day actually be meaningful again, or are they just going to let the country self-destruct in hopes that they can emerge from the carnage as the "leader" even though it's apparent that most of us don't want what they're selling.
Also, secession is a very real possibility (which could lead to a hot war involving more than just militias). I've note that many times as well.
In short, this is far from "over"; but in the last few months we've only had two things going for us--the fact that we vastly outnumber them, and Donald Trump. I believe we now have some fairly broad advantages that mean the radicals have reached their high water mark (at least for now). We've still got lots of work to do, lots of reason to exist, and darker times to deal with before we finally see any significant light.
But I can finally at least see that light; I couldn't before.

Not sure they are going to make a full retreat from these tactics but if so that’s not necessarily a good thing — right now they (the pawns) are out in the open, and that’s where they are most vulnerable. When the politicians pull their support they will crawl back to their parents basements (if they’re smart) and continue their subversive activities by other means...
If they are ostracized from society and relegated to the waste in of history — great. But in my view, if they retreat, we will see them come back later and with vengeance— probably when the democrats loose the election.
That’s ultimately what I think we need to be getting prepared for — the SHTF moment is going to be the aftermath of the election.

This is our thought as an organization as well (hence the countdown at the bottom of the page). The worst of what we'll ultimately see won't occur until after the election, but political cover coming down for these guys should give us some hope.
I don't want to be Mr Pessimism here, but I believe that we should be prepared for a Democratic victory in November. The riots are a huge gift to the Republican Party, and were it led by anyone but Trump, they would almost certainly guarantee victory. However ....
Good generals plan for victory in an attack, but also have a 'plan B' if they are forced to break off an attack and withdraw. So should we.
In particular, if the Democrats win big ... getting bigger majorities in the House, a majority in the Senate, and taking a lot of state legislatures now held by Republicans ... we should expect a legal attack on the Militia Movement, maybe using the Smith Act, but probably using state laws which outlaw private armies. Then the wisdom of being an all-round 'Civilian Defense Force' (with an armed security component) will be obvious, although the Owl of Minerva (representing wisdom) will have flown too late for the groups ordered to disband or hauled into court.
The most imporant thing for our side, in the event of a Democratic victory, will be to avoid falling into pessimistic despair and inactivity. The temptation will be to say 'to hell with it' and to pursue all the pleasures of a private life, especially if association with patriot groups starts to appear to be a threat to one's employment, or makes one a legal target.
Rather, we should reflect on this: if the Democrats take power, they will then be responsible for running America. All her problems will not have gone away -- she will still be slipping into second place in the world while China rises to first -- she will still have illegal aliens coming over the border -- jobs will still be vanishing overseas. So then the big contradiction in the Democratic Party will start to come to the surface.
What is that contradiction? It's the huge division between a large part of the radical Democratic base -- which will want an anti-Israeli foreign policy, large tax raises on the rich, loosening of restrictions on immigration (legal and illegal), lots of free stuff (forgiveness of student loans for example) -- on the one hand .... and the desires of the major corporations and finance-capital associations which are the real masters of the Democratic Party on the other.
All those rioters won't go away. Black criminals will still be resisting arrest and reaching for their knives or guns, and killing each other in record numbers. Young Black males will still be graduating from high school unable to read their own diplomas. COVID will still be around, posing the dilemma -- total safety and a dead economy, or some compromise that won't satisfy everyone. The police will continue to be restricted and hollowed out, while more and more people will see the prudence of having a back-up in the form of a Civilian Defense Force.
There will be HUGE opportunities to build the Civilian Defense Force. We should be preparing for public meetings, weekend classes, training sessions, social events. It will be an ideal time for everyone to deepen their knowledge, both technical and political.
Above all, the 'Trump Question' will be off the agenda. We'll be arguing about policies, not personalities. We can only benefit from that.
So ... if we lose in November, spend a day or two drinking your troubles away, and then return to the fight, because there will be a lot to do, and great opportunities to grow.
And if we win? Yikes, it will be interesting times indeed!
Sadly, we're going to be in the fight whether Trump wins or not. I'm still very optimistic that Trump wins in a landslide--but I don't think that ends this; I think it will only make it worse. I've always thought that, but now I think so more than ever.
I've posted on the home page that I'm walking back the optimism I'd expressed in this post. I really believed the Democrats were going to try for self-preservation; I was wrong. They're going to burn it all to the ground, like the spoiled little children they are, rather than allow America to be America.
Tie your boots on tight; this ride is going to get rocky, and this is only the beginning. As Doug says above, whether the Democrats win or lose (or rather, whether they cheat and succeed, or cheat and fail), our work is not even a little bit started. Three months from now things only really just begin.

One minor nit to pick... The democrat party is just as fractured (if not more so) than the republican party. The young extremists are what we are seeing, but their is a more centrist silent majority that doesn't like the current direction. There are black liberals who oppose anarchy and anti-religious efforts, etc...
If things get worse, they may destabilize the party, and help more centrist efforts to quell destruction.
The "news" isn't covering it, but there are a lot of disgrunteled, and disenfranchised democrats in Seattle, and Portland, and Baltimore, etc... There is even a possibility that Oregon will swing red in the upcoming election.

Agreed, and by "Democrats" I'm talking about Democrat leadership, which puts out the call to whatever message they've decided for the talking heads to push. I am not referring to good Americans who carry the (D) beside their name because they thought the Democrats represented working people (which maybe they did, many years ago, but now they represent America-hating). And the America-hating, riot-supporting crap is the reason they're fractured; they're not smart enough in leadership to understand that.
In any case, I think what used to be Liberals (which is why I now use the expression "Leftists"...because Liberals are now in OUR tent) are now the center, even center-right. The radicals who are represented by Democrat leadership have no idea how strong and large the silent majority now is. That's the only advantage we have--because they're prepared to fight, are willing to, and are going to. We can't even get a freakin' prosecution of criminals out of our side.
