The CDF Human Resources Wish List
Quote from HQ_Admin on August 6, 2020, 8:26 AMThe Civilian Defense Force is looking for people of all ages, abilities, and interests. We are always on the lookout for experienced military people, especially those who are able to train others, but even the homemaker who doesn't think she has much to contribute to a neighborhood defense organization would be surprised at how useful her skills and aptitudes are to our cause. Every American Patriot is asked to apply to join a unit. Be of good character and with no history that would preclude you from being around firearms. Patriots of good character; that's our primary criteria.
There are some occupations we're especially seeking, on both the local but also national level. Don't worry--you won't have to relocate; our national organization is virtual, and your local unit will be in your own county.
The skills we seek the most at this time are:
- Legal professionals (attorneys in particular) who can help us on a pro bono basis, as part of their Patriotic Duty. This is primarily on the national level, but locally as well.
- Medical professionals, particularly if you can coordinate trainings (CPR, wound care, basic life support, etc.) on a local, state, or regional level.
- Experienced field grade military officers, to assist us with everything from planning to strategy, training to tactics (on all levels).
- Top-notch "keyboard warriors". These will be people with excellent online communications and research skills, social media expertise, and organizational aptitude. These will be utilized on the national level, but will be part of their local group as well.
- Business experts. Anyone who can help organizations (Units) to grow in the ways a business would approach it. Again, we have use for you on the national as well as local level.
- Marketing experts, particularly those with strong graphic arts skills, to help us develop our marketing, recruiting, and training material.
- Videographers. If you've made, or can make, videos for recruiting, training, or other purposes, or aid in the process (everything from editing to music production, writing to sound), we'd love to talk. This would be primarily an effort coordinated for the national site, done from home.
- Recruiters. If you've recruited for military or educational institutions, that would be outstanding. For business, also great. This would be for the national organization while we develop the program, and then locally.
These are strictly voluntary, no financial compensation. Your reward will be the knowledge that you put your skills to use aiding your community and country in the time of greatest need.
