It seems we're being "heard of"...
Quote from HQ_Admin on August 17, 2020, 12:45 PMThought I'd pass along this bit of information, which is both good and bad.
I noticed last week that our visitor count went crazy--like we more than quadrupled the number of visitors to the site in a period of about twelve hours. The new influx was coming from zerohedge.com, which most of you will recognize as a pretty major player in the right-wing web space. I figured this was because someone had posted a comment or something on a story of theirs, and the large numbers would taper off.
It seems I was wrong. Zerohedge is driving a lot of people our way--so first, let me say thank you to the new visitors for coming to see what we're all about. Second, thank you to Zerohedge for the assistance in pointing people to us. And third, thank you to whoever it was who posted about us in the first place.
We've added a number of new members as a result of that influx, and more seem to be coming in regularly. The word is getting out.
Here's the other side of that double-edged sword; as people find us and we make a "splash", the bad guys are finding us too. Our security software has been working overtime, blocking malicious entry attempts and denial-of-service attacks, intercepting bots that probe for weakness in code and security, etc. Much of this is coming from Russia and Ukraine (more than 700 attempts in one 24 hour period just a couple of days ago), which indicates less that it's our "enemies" and more just bad actors in general, but it's only a matter of time until that badness expands to attention focused specifically on us. Any time that happens, it can take the site down. How long it stays down is mostly a question of how concentrated the attack is, and how well I can fight back from the back end.
I have some pretty great security software, and a couple of other "tricks" that mitigate the problem, and I'll be adding more. Along with the influx of new members, the attention has gotten us a few donations (which I'd also like to say "thank you" for), which will allow me to install even more robust measures. I'll be doing that in the coming days. The reason I mention this is because, like everything else, these issues consume time--and put me further behind. I apologize for this. I am getting caught up a bit at a time, but literally every aspect of the website requires some of my attention at the moment (forcing me to completely neglect my own unit, by the way) so the going is slower than I had hoped. I expect that will be easing up as I get more of the site itself solidified and can concentrate more on content and activity.
In the meantime, please continue to use the forums and explore what else hits the pages. The "Unit Building" course will be completed in the next 48 hours (or rather, the first module for it), which will allow those of you who want to start working on your own units to do so. The sooner I get the course done, the sooner you can get started; the sooner you get started, the sooner we can get some units built and running; and the sooner that happens, the faster we become a force for good in America.
Thank you all for your patience and patriotism. We're going to do great things together.

I sent the link to this site to mark Goodwin a Christian conservative writer, and the owner of prepper recon. I encouraged him to check it out hopefully he'll send some traffic our way.
also sent it to the Marinette county sheriff department and joe will be sending it to Oconto county sheriff dept.
Sounds great.
