We aren't "Extremists", though the enemy will say we are.
Quote from HQ_Admin on August 19, 2020, 3:14 PMThe enemies of America (including domestic enemies) are very resourceful. They've been practicing misinformation and psychological warfare for decades; they've become very good at it.
One of the cornerstones of their operational methodology in that regard is the use of labels. We're all seeing it now (and have been for at least 12 years) with the use of the word "racist". Anyone they disagree with is a "racist"; anyone who disagrees with them is a "racist". Doesn't matter the "race" of the person they're denigrating, or the actual content of that person's character (or words/actions), they're going to wear that label if they aren't in alignment with the ideologies of the anti-American crowd.
Another label often attached to organizations and people opposed to their ideology is "radical" and/or "extreme". This one is a real beauty, because it automatically assigns fearful and misleading 'qualities' to the target no matter whether there is any factual basis for those fears and other characteristic emotions.
These days, anything to the right of the far-Left anti-American crowd is considered "extreme", and practitioners of any philosophy that doesn't agree with their agenda are by extension "extremists".
This label will absolutely be applied to us, if it hasn't already; it's only a matter of time.
The reality, of course, is that we're just average Americans who love our country and want to protect it from the true extremists who would fundamentally alter everything America is and has been for more than two centuries. But reality doesn't enter into the picture with these people. This is psychological warfare at it's most basic level, and they're going to apply their tactics to us just the same as they do with anyone and everyone else in opposition to them, including actual extremists from "our side" of the political spectrum.
That is the point of this post; drawing the distinctions between us and actual extreme elements on the Right, and enforcing conditions that should make those distinctions clear to reasonable people.
What we are not...
The Civilian Defense Force is not a "hate group". We don't practice, or tolerate, the activities and symbolism of white supremacy and neo-Nazi groups, for instance. We don't associate with or in other ways identify with that type of group or others that tend toward the fringe of our side of the political spectrum. Because our end goals often align--preserving historical monuments, for instance--we will sometimes attract adherents to ideologies we do not support, and those adherents will attempt to further their unaligned ideologies here. When we see it we will shut it down. We have rules in place against it, codified in our Terms and Conditions for use of CDF websites. We don't allow discussions of subject matter that we deem (in the discretion of site administrators) "hateful" or otherwise overtly offensive to people based upon race, religion, etc. and we don't permit the posting of images that further those ideologies either. As an administrative group, we'll do what is necessary (up to and including the removal/banning of users) to prevent violation, or further violation, of our stated policies.
The Civilian Defense Force welcomes all American Patriots of good character. Is there some subjectivity to that? Of course there is. Subjectivity is a part of life. But we try our best to limit our subjective calls to reflect our support of the Constitutional principles of America. This includes an understanding that everyone is created equal, and entitled to the pursuit of life, Liberty, and happiness. And we subscribe to the philosophy of Dr. Martin Luther King, who believed that a man or woman should be judged on the content of his/her character. We view true "hatefulness", including views of the "supremacy" of one race over another, as character flaws--and we will behave accordingly.
Now it doesn't matter that I've just written that; it doesn't even matter if we enforce it vigorously...our enemies will still paint us with that negative brush and call our organization and it's participants "racist" and "extreme". There's no way around that. The best we can say to you--to anyone who looks into our group--is that as an organization we are no more extreme than a collection of neighbors at the park on the 4th of July. There may be those with extreme views within our ranks from time to time, because that is the nature of gatherings of people, but we don't promote it and we call it out and eliminate it whenever we see it.
We are not a "hate" group; rather, we are a "love" group--a collection of people who love our country and what it stands for, and are dedicated to preserving it.
If you see content (including words, images, or other sources) on any of our websites that promotes or glorifies the ideologies we clearly oppose, please make us aware of it. You can email [email protected], or message me or any other admin directly.

Quote from CDF Patriot on August 21, 2020, 9:46 PMIn 2020, when a communist/leftist calls you a 'racist', consider that a proverbial badge of honor. It means we are over the target. Quick history note , I believe Leon Trotsky or Lenin ( hard core commies) invented the term racism to smear their enemies. Feel free to confirm that.

Quote from cb85 on August 21, 2020, 11:26 PMI believe there are also a lot of folks that have no idea what the Democratic Party has become.
They only watch CNN or some other left propaganda network and they never see the other side so they just don't know. Watched the gay guy that started # walk away on timcast tonight. He described the far left as a fanatical religious movement that wants to shove its agenda down our throats. People are waking up. Let's throw gas on the dumpster fire that is the Democratic Party. That's how we fight the info war right now. Share videos like the one I saw tonight and obliterate the Democratic narrative!
