The Civil War won't be civil, and won't just be "us vs. 'them'".
Sigh.
We've all read the history of the first United States Civil War. Brother against brother. You know the story.
We're all--every one of us, at present--making the mistake of thinking this is going to be "us" versus some ill-defined "them".
I've just learned first-hand that it's going to go much deeper than that, and we should all do our best to prepare for it right now. I'm not going into the personal details, except to say that "them" could easily include people living under your own roof.
We all have a habit of puffing up our chests and saying "I'd do THIS!" or "I'd do THAT!" and standing like Superman while the sun shines behind us and puts us in silhouette. We all know what we'd do--until it actually happens to us.
It's easy to forget that the people throwing bricks and molotov cocktails are someone's children. In fact for the most part many of them still ARE children, by most of the definitions we'd employ in more reasonable times. Their parents, who may very well be sympathetic to our cause, will be heartbroken when they realize it's their children who are "the enemy".
It's also easy to forget that even if our kids aren't off at University being brainwashed and radicalized, they are still at home on Facebook, seeing "both sides".
We don't believe there are two sides. I don't, at least...not two sides that are "right" in any case. Even if I did believe there was some grain of legitimacy to the "other side", I have no choice but to dismiss it once the buildings are set ablaze and innocent people are forced from their cars and kicked to death. I am beyond caring what the "cause" is or was, once the violence starts, especially when the cause morphs so clearly into pure anti-Americanism.
But I am me. I don't use Facebook; I don't watch television; I don't listen to what passes for "music" these days, or the people who make that noise; I don't read magazines that claim to be fashion-oriented but are more and more being subverted. But my family does.
And so does yours.
They are being indoctrinated too, folks. They are, and all the chest-puffing you want to do isn't going to change that. Try telling your adult wife or husband that he/she can't be on Facebook or watch TV and see what happens. And on those platforms, on that television set, in the pages of that magazine, the seeds of "they" are being sown every single day and have been for years.
"They" don't just live in Portland, or Pittsburgh, or even down the street. "They" may be in your own house. We just watched as Kellyanne Conway was forced to leave the Trump campaign that she helped to make so successful, simply because she has been married to the enemy and he's made life difficult for her. And she's one of the President's right-hand operatives. Do you honestly think you're going to somehow fare better?
I don't know how to advise you. I really don't. I'm an answer-man as much as anyone can be, typically, but some situations don't have a ready solution. I'm simply telling you that you may be put into a position where you have to decide between your country and parts of your family--perhaps all of them, since without the support of your spouse you could easily be pushed away from your kids, too. You may have to make that decision, in all earnestness. That's the world we're living in now.
I'm not going to try to tell you how to handle that. That's above my pay grade. I'm just telling you to steel your heart and mind to it, in case it comes to pass.
And even if it doesn't, remember that the kid you see on television, or the "Mothers Against Police" nimrod you consider to be "they" is someone's child, someone's wife, and that someone may not want this any more than you do.
It's civil war, but it will be anything but civil. And "them"?
They might just be part of what used to be "us". Not just the "us" who collects in this organization, but the "us" who appears in your wedding album or family vacation videos.

Be of good courage
pray for strength we are all going to need it.
Pray for those on the other side. That they wake up.
And speak so the other side knows as well as you do what the cost will be.
i told my cousin 2 years ago that if "they" keep pushing we are going to have to start shooting. Thats what you are driving us to. And even if my "other" family is on the other side of the shooting line im still going to fire!

HQ-Admin: You pose a problem that will not be easily solved . I am in total agreement stridertheranger and cb 85 about praying for courage and leaning on Lord Jesus for strength. How does this manifest itself for all Patriots whether they are Christians or not?
First, we have to stand up against evil whether out on the streets or in our home. In fact, the enemy within is the most diabolical and difficult to deal with for our emotional ties can blind us to the evil. It may lead to some very difficult choices. But whoever said doing right is easy?
Second, we have to be spiritually ready, emotionally ready, and physically ready to deal with a long protracted very ugly civil war that some of us and our loved ones won't live to see the end of it. That is a harsh reality. Yet within it are seeds of hope. The civil war will end. Good will triumph over evil. A new better America will emerge from the ashes.
Third, there is a foreign power behind the civil war the Chinese communist government allied with globalist corporations, Democrats and their armies of Antifa, BLM and sundry looting thugs. Once those on the sidelines realize that this civil war has been instigated by a foreign power, then their attitudes can change.

I had a recent reply to a post I put up elsewhere in which I was pointing out there is a nationwide shortage of Mace of any type.
I was in the process of ordering another 330 gram Mace Pepper Gel fire extinguisher, my supplier advised he had 4 left and once they where gone that's it no more for a long time, I took all 4, now he is drop shipping with a 10 week back order time.
Well some other poster chimes in the hack with using Mace those days are over, now it's time to shoot them dead.
I replied back to each his own, but for now I am going to stick with the less lethal means of defense. I then asked him how would he feel if he shot and killed neighbors son or daughter, who was in the background just watching and not causing any trouble while your are being cuffed and hauled off to jail?
That was a few days ago and still no reply.

You're absolutely right. I'm much more optimistic than I have been lately, but the danger is far from having passed, and the darkest times could still be ahead. I just believe that the domestic threat--specifically, the useful idiots that the radical Left has pulled into this--are a lot less of a threat now, and the political cover that the Democrats have been giving (as well as the soapbox they've allowed people like AOC and Ilhan Omar to climb on so frequently) will disappear, at least until the election results are in. Once the landslide is complete, two things could happen; they could lose control of the monster they've created/enabled, or they could see they're near extermination as a party and could just say "screw it" and let the destruction begin, hoping in the end that they can emerge as the leaders of the new country that results.
Either way, we still have a lot to prepare for. And November 4th is still the date to be the most concerned with.
