Splits in the Enemy's ranks
The war we have been waging, (and will be waging, for an indeterminate period), is a political one.
That is, victories are not like military victories: destroying enemy personnel and equipment; taking strategic positions; cutting off the enemy's supply lines.
Rather, they are political victories: in a word, winning the hearts and minds of the majority of the American people.
This is a very different process than the art of war, although there are things in common. (To update von Clausewitz, war is politics carried on with different means. And even war involves many of the skills of politics.)
If we had the active support of the overwhelming majority of the American people, we would not be in the position we are in. There would still be political differences, roughly along the Left/Right divide, but there would be agreement that America is, in the historical balance, a hugely positive achievement for all of humanity, and worth defending. Put it this way -- you may have voted for Richard Nixon in 1960, but you would not have despaired when John F Kennedy won. Both men were American patriots. Neither saw their country as fundamentally rotten, as conceived in slavery, and raised in conquest and imperialism.
In political war, our first priority has to be to expand our ranks. Sixty million Americans voted for Trump in 2016 -- but how many of them are in organizations like this one? If we had just 3% of the thirty million males who voted for Trump, we would have one million members. Even by the most generous count, we have far less than even ten percent of a million.
So our work is cut out for us. We need to discuss how to recruit and grow.
But there are other aspects to political war. One of them is the symmetrical opposite of the previous task: we need to learn how to diminish the numbers of the enemy's ranks, or render them less effective. How to persuade people to move from the Left, to the Center, and from the Center, to the pro-Civilization wing (usually called 'the conservatives' or 'the Right').
And we need to learn how to take advantage of divisions in the enemy's ranks -- to exacerbate them where they already exist, and to create them where they are just a potential.
For example: Seattle has just undergone a destructive 'occupation' of a part of its city center. It has a large and active Far Left. Democratic politicians there are intimidated by it, and trying to appease it, like someone on a life raft feeding his rations to a shark. The nine-member Seattle City Council -- Eight Democrats and one Trotskyist --voted 6 to 3 to 'defund the police' -- beginning by cutting their salaries, including the salary of the Police Chief, a Black Woman. She responded by resigning (not necessarily only over the pay cut).
The eight Democrats all made personal statements in response to the resignation, which is very embarrassing to them. The five who voted for defunding generate the usual cloudy, meaningless verbiage. The three who voted against take the opportunity to say that they did, and to criticize their more 'woke' colleagues.

Now ... if we had forces in or near Seattle, they ought to consider how they could take advantage of this split.
Perhaps via a statement criticizing all the Council members, but extending some critical support to the three Democrats who voted to retain a police force. Of course the three will be embarrassed by support, however critical, from horrible rightwing reactionaries ... but so what? And in the upcoming elections, every Democrat candidate in Washington state should be asked what kind of Democrat they are ... 'defund the police' Democrats, or not? Whichever way they answer, they will alienate part of their base: either the Hard Left anti-police wing, or the moderate sensible Democrats who have an idea of what life would be like without a police force.
We could go futher. We could organize a 'Support the Police' demonstration or public meeting or petition (or all three), and seek the signatures of the three sensible Democrats on the Council.
Of course we would want to work very closely with the Police Union there, which is explicitly mentioned by the anti-Police Democrats in their statements. (Like all unions, the Police Union often goes too far in defending the indefensible among its members. But like all unions, it exists for a reason, to counterbalance the power of the employer.)
There will be many more splits like this. It is an error to see what is happening in the US as all a tightly-controlled Giant Conspiracy, with every AntiFa attack on a conservative, every BLM riot, ever incident of looting, the result of a decision in Conspiracy Headquarters. The world is far more complex than that.
We have to understand these complexities, and be prepared to move quickly to take advantage of developments that can be turned in our favor.

Thank you Doug. There is virtually nothing I can add to this; what you've said here is concise and deeply meaningful. The only thing I will say is that it is precisely this type of activity--not running around the woods with guns, though that too has it's place--that will make all the difference in the situation as it exists now. Too many knee-jerk reactions to the violence and destruction we're seeing on the internet will cause us to lose sight of the real opportunities this mess opens up for us, for America, if we're smart enough and active enough to capitalize on it.
The far Left is making mistakes right now; major, existential mistakes. We've got to swallow our righteous anger and desire for retribution long enough to recognize that they're taking their own legs out from under them--and let them do it. As Doug mentioned, we all want to see the conspiracy-behind-the-lunacy, and it is there--but a lot of this is just stupid people doing stupid things. We're preparing for the battle that we'll eventually have to wage against the string-pullers in the background, but in the meantime we've got to let the stupid people turn public opinion against the ideology that's driving them, and turn people toward our organization and others like it.
Now is the time to gather; gather public support, gather patriots/recruits, gather a whole new generation of people who will respect and honor our founding and the principles that drive our nation. Nothing we do--nothing we do--will motivate that gathering the way the conflagration being waged by ANTIFA/BLM right now is doing. They are sowing the seeds for us; we need only harvest the crop.
A problem we face is that when good people see evil being perpetrated, they want to do something now. This is entirely admirable. Unfortunately, that justified impulse doesn't necessarily lead to the smartest action that will successfully attack evil.
So people who say, 'Wait ... prepare ... build our forces ... look for the opportunity to attack evil when we can be most confident we will succeed ..." sound like fainthearts. This is just something we have to acknowledge and live with.
And there is another problem, the appreciation of which is something that 'conspiracy theorists' should actually be the first to understand: there are forces at work who want to see us respond immediately, violently, without thought for the consequences, and who are able to put their wants into action.
The Russian secret service, in its original form, and in its current generation, has spent a lot of time studying and practicing 'disinformation'. This began in the early 1950s, when they sent anonymous letters, ostensibly from the American KKK, to all Third World UN delegates, threatening their lives. They were just getting started, so they made little mistakes, for example, talking about 'tanning and feathering' rather than 'tarring and feathering'. But they have improved a lot since then. And the internet, with its opportunity to be anonymous, or even to pretend to be an American patriot, has expanded their potential scope enormously.
They would just love to see Americans killing each other over political issues. And I have no doubt at all that they are present on the internet, joining forums, joining Facebook and other social media outlets, pretending to be impatient patriots, urging 'action now', and accusing cooler heads of being cowards. Aided of course, by boneheads who are unwittingly working for free.
And of course they will just hate this website.
Now I see the time for coalition building. And organizing.
By our nature we as conservatives are by are very nature (ideology) wanting be left alone.
But we can't do that for much longer.

Yes. This is very well and succinctly put.
We want the state to just be a framework that lets people get on with their own, self-directed, free activity. It's not in our nature to be politically active, because we want to be 'non-politically' active.
But for the Left, the capture of the state, the expansion of its power, and the use of that expanded power to forcibly re-shape society into the form they want it to be, is their very essence.
So for them, political activity of all sorts comes naturally. And they have a century of experience in doing it. Starting as a small group and using every possible avenue of publicity, every psychological method to recruit and retain members, is their bread-and-butter.
When one of our own is murdered by the police, or is under attack, there is usually just profound silence from our side. Look at the case of Duncan Lemp. Had this young man been an AntiFa activist, there would have been demonstrations in every major city, articles in every newspaper, YouTube videos by the dozen, and CNN and the like would have been pressured into doing his biography. Just as the vile Nancy Pelosi presented a folded American flag to the family of the criminal drug addict George Floyd, our representatives in Congress would have been pressured to have made some major gesture in his honor.
Instead, there was almost nothing. A few articles in conservative journals, and that was it.
We need to be George Patton to the Left's Erwin Rommel, read their books on how to wage war, so to speak, and learn from them, and beat them at their own game.
While the violent riots instigated by AntiFa are making the news, the fact is that there are dozens, hundreds, of leftist projects working quietly in the background, designed to gain mass support by taking up issues that are of concern to the average American. They call it 'mass work'.
Fortunately, the main forces of the Left have moved away from this approach over the last few decades -- many young Lefties have open contempt for (white) workingclass people -- but the older generation of the Left are still carrying on with this approach, mainly concentrated in non-white communities, among women and sexual minorities.
That's why this website is such a welcome development. It's a formal recognition of what some militia groups have discovered in practice -- that we must be more than just an armed self-defense group, but rather must be able to respond to any breakdown of civil order, including that caused by natural disasters. And we must be seen in that light.
There is a three-headed hydra that we must become if we want to be effective as a military-type force, and none of it involves typical martial activity. These are:
- Neighborhood Watch
- Search and Rescue
- Hometown FEMA
Taken to its most granular level, "militia" is nothing more than neighborhood watch with better firearms covering a larger area. But citizens welcome neighborhood watch, participate in it, feel better because of it. Those "we hate gubmint" bumpkins with their camouflage underwear and scary black fully-semi-automatic-assault-weapons-of-ULTIMATE-DEATH are not ever going to be accepted. Finding lost kids? The community will love you. Filling sandbags in preparation for flooding? Same thing.
This is a lesson we must learn, and begin pounding into the heads of existing militia, if we ever want to become effective in our "operational space"...and we have the example of the communists to thank for it.
In the 1960s they "protested" in all the same ways they're doing now (though perhaps less violently on balance). And just like today, the country did not respond well to it. We lament that today's idiot kids don't learn from history, but this is one bit of history I'm glad they didn't "get"; they're making all the same mistakes, fifty years on.
There's more...the commie long-hairs tried to convert people by showing up with flyers, knocking on doors, "educating"...blah blah blah.
What they found out was that being OVERT communists was not going to sell their product, and knocking on doors with their unkempt long locks was turning people off. The direct-messaging team cleaned up their image, cloaked their communist core message in fancy terms like "democratic socialism", and went for the "aw, he's a harmless good boy who's a bit misguided" approach. Softening the message works beautifully because people who aren't afraid are much less likely to clamp shut like Epstein's asshole on shower day.
And more importantly, again as demonstrated by the commie bastards who've screwed our country for decades now, it's the behind-the-curtain work that is the most important. The small, subtle, almost imperceptible little changes, little challenges, indirect-path work that gets the job done best. Going into a neighborhood and saying how wonderful Communism is, you might as well set yourself on fire in the middle of the street. But going into that same neighborhood and telling people that their neighbors have it better than they do, and it's all because of the color of their skin--and oh, by the way, Communism gives you free shit that our comrades take from that asshole down the street and you don't have to work for it--well, you see how that message sells a lot better. Especially when it's told to the entire neighborhood from a hundred different directions.
A quick aside that ties in with this, but is too often forgotten; "keyboard warriors" are so badly denigrated (and stupidly) by the militia because they "talk but don't act". Really? And how much "acting" have the gun-totin' kit-wearin' folks FROM EITHER SIDE done, in reality? But what has been done effectively--so effectively that there are entire FARMS of both humans and bots doing it with their keyboards? Simple posting on forums, commenting on videos, tweeting, timeline-posting, etc. And again, I'm not talking about overt messaging; simply reinforcing certain messages at certain times to certain audiences, even diametrically opposed messages, is remarkably effective at--you guessed it--driving wedges between people and causing them to fight. The whole idea that Putin supports Trump, or Xi supports Biden, is on it's face ludicrous. They both support the destruction of the United States, and they can't effect that destruction--but the American people can! So today we'll support Trump because he and "his people" are pushing this message or that; tomorrow we'll support Biden because he and his people are pushing the opposite message. We'll add hundreds or thousands of voices to the mix, carefully timed, expertly placed, etc. for maximum effect...just to get the two sides hating each other and wanting to fight.
No army needed, just a building full of "keyboard warriors" entire continents away. What a bargain!
Again, straight out of the psy-ops playbook that the Left has been expertly using for decades. Hell, most of us have read Saul Alinsky and we still fall for it! And we march right into the traps they lay for us (can anyone say STONE MOUNTAIN, THIS PAST WEEKEND!) as if we are too stupid to see ourselves being set up weeks in advance!
I digress. The point is that we have to be SMART. We have to learn the lessons the commies learned fifty years ago, and begin practicing the methods they so effectively employed. Too many on our side want to take the approach of grabbing people by the balls "and their hearts and minds will follow". But that's bullshit, and it always has been. That's like "the beatings will continue until morale improves". Complete brain-dead thinking.
No. WIN the hearts and minds, and the balls (and everything else) will follow. That's how we beat this enemy. And that's who we need to be anyway, so it's win/win right from the start.

Same with many other ppl and groups that you are talking to. They might be a bit scornful of you now but after their child is shot by antifa or their Business is burning they will think of your group.
