Kyle shooting... looks like the first deceased wasn't even shot by Kyle
Quote from DasBlinkenlight on August 28, 2020, 10:03 AMStabilized video of first shooting... looks like someone else fired 5 times AT Kyle, and hit first deceased instead.
Watch with audio... you'll see Kyle has his back to the guy getting shot... watch the guy with the black shirt with white print. He's the shooterhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=2&v=mbXJN0OylEQ&feature=emb_logo

Quote from Marc Sayer on August 28, 2020, 10:54 AMI see Kyle turn, he rotates counter clockwise and faces the guy chasing him. He paused for a short beat, with his weapon is in his hands and pointed at the guy chasing him, just long enough to have gotten off a shot. Plus in other videos it appeared the guy was shot in the front of the head. The wound in front seemed to be the entry wound as it was tiny. It was so small, the guy giving first aid kept asking where's the hole. No way the guy in the black shirt can shoot him in the front of the head, while standing behind him. And had the wound in the front of the head been an exit wound, it should have been much larger. Just my opinion.

Quote from Robert on August 28, 2020, 11:28 AMGood observation Marc. I saw the same. His spin ended with enough aspect angle and time to make the shot to strike the chaser. Although I’m surprised at that distance, point blank, he could have hit fthe side of the head, not to mention that with 556 there would have been no problem finding an exit wound. In fact, the case could be made the ballistics don’t support being hit by 556 which would have passed all the way thru.

Quote from DasBlinkenlight on August 28, 2020, 12:19 PMObviously, the investigators will have better information. Bullet fragments from the deceased, rounds left in the magazine, ejected casings, etc.
Time will tell

Quote from Marc Sayer on August 28, 2020, 1:07 PMYeah the exit wound would have been on the back of the head and they were only looking at the front of the head at that point. But the size of the entry wound was a point of concern for me too. It was hard to see because they had pulled his shirt up partly off so it was over his head. And the video is not all that good. But it looked more like a .22lr than a .223. One thing was sure though, it looked like an entry wound not an exit wound. OTOH stuff doesn't always work and act in real life like we are told it will or expect it to. Thing is the video doesn't prove to me that he was not the shooter.
