A world-renowned fortune teller, infinitely knowledgeable and celebrated for the fact that she’s never ever ever ever EVER wrong, has just told you that you are going to die very soon. “But,” she winks, “you have two options…you can choose to die now, leaving your children an insurance policy that will help them navigate the years ahead–or you can live a little bit longer, but your children will struggle terribly for the rest of their lives.”
Most of us, of course, will choose the path that offers a chance for our children in the future. But there’s more.
“Your death will be painful and unforgiving. You’ll experience wreckage you’d never imagined. By delaying your demise, things can go on in seemingly ‘normal’ fashion for awhile…but in the end, you’ll still have to face the devastation.”
Now what do you choose? It’s going to be painful either way–do you put off the pain and sacrifice your children’s future, or do you step up and take the pain on right now so that they may have a chance down the road? Don’t answer yet, because there’s still more.
“Your children will be angry with you, resent you, if you choose to die now; they believe things are just fine and won’t accept that you had to go so soon. But they’ll resent you even more if you delay your death, knowing that you could have stood up when their future was on the line, but didn’t.”
You’re going to die either way. Your children are going to be angry and resentful either way. Pain and devastation are coming either way. It seems the only real question is–do you offer a possible future for your children, at the cost of a little more time playing at an illusion of life, or do you sacrifice your children’s future for that illusion?
This is not a fictional story. The fortune-teller in question exists. Her name is “History”. Only the role of “you” is exaggerated–and it really isn’t. The “you” in question is the (YOU)nited States of America, which could easily include you personally.
The United States, in it’s current iteration, is finished. The never-wrong fortune teller of History tells us so. Every great society whose debt-to-GDP has exceeded a certain level–one we’ve already DOUBLED and continue to pile on like there’s no tomorrow (because there isn’t)–has failed. Every possible economic warning light has been triggered. The dashboard of the American car is lit up like a Christmas tree; we’re still coasting, but we’re headed to the side of the road at least.
The proof is all around us. Some can be easily seen, some easily extrapolated and discerned, and some requires a little more digging (because the government and media are downplaying or otherwise obfuscating the details):
- OBVIOUS–the debt carried by the Federal Government at this point is absolutely non-recoverable; there is not enough production to create sufficient tax revenue to even cover service on this debt, and that was before the COVID shutdowns rendered upwards of forty percent of small businesses bankrupt or closed altogether. What’s more, the “hedge” that debt-deniers consistently point to–that “most of this debt is owed to the American people”–assumes that we’ll never call for it to be repaid. History, again, has shown this to be false (and rightly so–it’s our money). When those calls start, and they will soon enough, the snowball will become an avalanche and the American economy (an illusion to make Houdini proud) will crash spectacularly. So what are the Biden administration and the ruling elites who control it doing? Simply printing and passing out even more money that the government doesn’t have and can never recapture. History, that wise fortune teller, advises that we look up “Wiemar Republic” for an idea of where this leads.
- EASILY EXTRAPOLATED–the most wide-ranging election fraud in history, organized on a massive scale and perpetrated in broad daylight, stole the Presidency and both houses of Congress for the drivers of this collapse. The Supreme Court, which a simple smell test indicates is at least compromised if not entirely corrupt, is the only bastion standing in the way of complete domination at the federal level. This machine has been installed and unleashed at precisely the time an American President was doing all the right things to stop this devastation in it’s tracks. The American economy under Donald Trump was BOOMING prior to the release of a lab-engineered virus which, it’s becoming clear, was created by the very people who needed it to do what it has done. While certainly not perfect, Trump had curtailed China’s growth and influence in the US and had returned us not only to energy independence but to worldwide energy dominance (we’d become the world’s largest exporter of energy during his tenure, up from having been the world’s largest importer of energy prior to that). The “America First” attitude was bringing us back to a position of strength, and offered at least a slim chance of evading the direst of consequences from the collapse of the economic illusion. COVID, of course, derailed this progress, while it’s devastating side- and after-effects paved the way for precisely the kind of tyranny that has made the existing and upcoming courses of action both possible and profitable for the ruling elite. COVID was either created and unleashed for this purpose (likely), or it’s accidental release and the ensuing chaos were seized upon by the oligarchs to enable what comes next. Whether intentional or mere crime of opportunity, the forces set to facilitate the onrushing collapse of the country and profit from the aftermath have positioned themselves to bring this nation down, and there’s no longer anything that can be done to stop it.
- LESS OBVIOUS–Fifty five years ago two Columbia University professors created a blueprint for much of what we’re seeing today. The Cloward-Piven strategy was a far-Left idea for overburdening state and local welfare systems in order to force the federal government to step in, expanding welfare programs nationwide and making lower-level governments dependent on the federal government for survival. It was soon realized that this strategy could effectively be counted on at both much higher and much lower levels; poor people could be made dependent upon the government for their every need (making them lock-step slaves to the system), and the very same burden that was placed on state and local governments could be equally forced upon the federal government (making FedGov dependent upon and answerable to the interests that held the keys to the money supply). Ultimately it was realized that Cloward-Piven on steroids could be used to collapse the American economy and make a plurality of American citizens complacent and/or complicit in the destruction of the nation once that process got underway. That process is underway! Here’s a reality that those who are not in the welfare/food-stamp system (and other government handout/pension schemes) are likely not aware of; “benefits” from these programs have been increased exponentially over the last year or so. People who were once feeding their families on $400 worth of “supplemental assistance” (food stamps) and barely getting by were suddenly having hundreds and even thousands of additional dollars being dropped into their SNAP accounts. Single people with no dependents were going from $200 in a month to over a thousand; people who routinely drained their account by month’s end are now spending wildly on the best foods and loads of unnecessary snacks and still maintaining thousand-dollar balances on their SNAP cards at the end of every month. People who never received food stamps, who did not apply for them and wouldn’t qualify even if they did, are suddenly receiving SNAP cards from school districts for each of their children (justified through “school lunch” programs). These cards have hundreds of dollars worth of food stamps on them. And that’s just SNAP benefits…that’s not counting the never-ending unemployment benefits, the supplemental unemployment benefits, the “COVID stimulus” money, and the new “child tax credit advance” scheme that the Biden administration has unleashed to continue propping up the economic illusion. There is no “real” money behind any of these handouts, and no possibility of there ever being any. The government is paying people to NOT work, feeding them huge amounts of food, and doing it all with nothing more than air. Make people dependent on the government, and then bankrupt the system that provides these “benefits”–sound like Cloward-Piven on steroids? That’s what we’re seeing now.
In all, what we’re witnessing is a bogus economy propped up entirely by bogus money, with a population lulled to sleep with groceries while businesses are starved for employees because the government is paying (with bogus money) so many to stay home and do nothing. It is the understatement of all understatements to say this is unsustainable; it is simply unconscionable, unless the intention is to profit when the house of cards finally comes tumbling down as it inevitably will. So who will profit? It won’t be you and I. Who will owe their future to the monied elite if this is allowed to continue and follow it’s natural course? Your children and mine.
That all of this will happen is not in question. In fact, it’s not even in question how soon it will happen, or what the results will be when it does. Our never-failing fortune-teller History has made this clear to us.
The only questions–ones I’ll propose to answer in Parts II through IV–are “what should we be doing in preparation for it”, and “to what extent should we be fighting against it rather than helping it reach us faster?”
You may be surprised to learn that I’m inclined to hasten the collapse so we can deal with it while we still have a possibility of a reasonable future for our children. The country is a corpse; I’ll explain why I believe it’s in our children’s best interests that we knock it off it’s feet and commence to building a newer, better nation in it’s place.
